Turning Hope into Opportunity: Making SDR a Reality

October 2019: Moving onto Phase Two of the Journey, "PERCS"

​

At the 6-months post-SDR mark, Virginia returned to St. Louis, Missouri to have her hamstring muscles & tendons lengthened via orthopedic PERCS surgery with Dr. Matthew Dobbs.  She has recently returned home, and is continuing on with physical therapy five days per week.

Spring 2019: A Dream Realized! 

At long last... Virginia had SDR surgery with Dr. Park, in March 2019!

 

After 6 weeks in St. Louis, Missouri she now embarks on a long rehab journey, while beginning to experience the joys of life, spasticity-free!
